Egle Khan

Egle is a jewellery designer at Eglantine’s World, aswell as a craft supplier. She is originally from Lithuania but lives in Bedford. Craft entered her life when she was a 16 year old teenager with health issues. She struggled with having hearing aids but discovered ‘a magical world of beads.’

Egle’s knowledge was self-taught or obtained through online courses. She describes art as her ‘meditation, escape, and passion’ and says beads stabilise her life; they make her more substantial. She doesn’t give up during challenging periods as it’s reassuring to know there is her otherworldly and thrilling time with beads. When she sees people with her work, it is the best compliment to her. It makes her feel pleased and helps her realise she is going the right way. She loves her job and wants to share it with more people.
