Make It Real – Working With Clay

Using clay and natural materials gathered from the local environment, this hands-on, explorative workshop invites participants to experiment with texture, pattern, and form in creative and tactile ways. Inspired by the river and its surroundings, we’ll consider how the natural world can inform and enhance our making processes. Together, we’ll play with different techniques and materials—pressing, shaping, and assembling—to explore how elements from the riverbank can be embedded into our clay creations, contributing to a shared vision for future public artwork. No prior experience with clay is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get stuck in.
