Creative River Exploration
This active, hands-on River/ Flow/ Connect session will begin with a walking exploration of potential sites for a new public artwork. Together, we’ll walk, observe and imagine possibilities for creative interventions in public space.
We’ll then head to Project 229 where participants will take on a making challenge that explores how to design and build artwork or creative structures suitable for outdoor environments. Through playful experimentation, we’ll consider ideas around form, function, and risk.
This session involves a walk to, from, and along the riverbank—approximately 3 miles over uneven terrain. Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.
