Talia Giles

Associate Producer

A local artist and creative producer, Talia Giles is founder of Pride Of Place Bedford, a collaboration with BCA, with POP Bedford, a new pop-up space launching on 12 July.

Having moved from live/work warehouse studio space in London to Bedford seven years ago, it’s been a mission to help support the creative community of Bedford by creating and securing larger, more permanent co-creating spaces, eventually resulting in a ‘Creative Hub’: a community-led, multi-use space.

Having recently opened the first shared studio space in Bedford town centre for some years in the Old Arcade: POP STUDIO 4, there are more spaces on their way.

Talia is interested in the link between people, places, and spaces and finding new ways to engage and interact within them.  Talia also co-manages Bedford Flea, Affordable Art & Local Produce market that supports and promotes grassroots, local businesses, and runs the sketching group Bedford Urban Sketchers.
