Karl Wustrau

Karl Wustrau is a lighting designer and event technician who specialises in lighting and event power solutions and has more than 30 years of experience in the field.

He likes to think of himself as a mad man with a shed, a bit like Wallace but without a Gromit to restrain his worst ideas… He thinks of himself as a “Creative Technologist” rather than an artist, producing some interesting and thought provoking pieces.

Karl is often inspired by the interaction of humanity and nature, especially the invasion of technology into the natural world and nature’s response to this intrusion.
