Jih Wen Yeh is a UK and international independent producer with over 15 years experience supporting both UK and Taiwanese dance artists. A Bedfordshire resident she has worked as Music In Detention producer for Bedford Creative Arts from 2015 - 2019 and has intimate knowledge of the region and its community.
One of 5 Escalator Dance Producers in 2012. Jih Wen has also worked as Artistic Consultant for Westminster Council, set up and project managed Chinese Art Now (from 2004 - 2008). She set up a two-year artist development programme (funded by Arts Council England) to support the visibility and sustainability of the British East Asian dance sector. (2009-2011). She has produced Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Taiwan Season since 2015 to date.
Jih-Wen has represented UK and Taiwan independent artists including, Rhiannon Faith, Pell Ensemble, Si Rawlinson, Kuo-Shin Chuang Pangcah Dance Theatre and Resident Island Dance Theatre to name a few. For promoting Chinese Culture in the UK, Jih-Wen has been curating bespoke educational package to fit the schools need and have been tour programme to schools since 1999 and working with Museum of London Dockland to curate their Chinese New Year programme since 2016 and working with National Maritime Museum since 1999.
