Join us from 2pm for a special talk entitled ‘From Hertz to Marconi – The Birth of Wireless Communication’ by Dr Saeed Parnow.
Dr Saeed Parnow is a geophysicist and civil engineer with dual PhDs, specialising in advanced imaging methods for understanding the hidden structures of the built and natural environment. His work focuses on non‑destructive technologies such as ground‑penetrating radar, translating electromagnetic signals into clear visual insights about infrastructure, landscapes, and ecosystems. Building on the legacy of wireless telegraphy, his research shows how invisible waves can reveal and communicate complex realities. As a speaker, Saeed bridges science, engineering, and society, offering a compelling perspective on how imaging technologies transform both knowledge and communication in the modern world.
