Anne Forgan

Anne Forgan is a freelance producer, artist and facilitator based in Coventry. Anne started out as a video maker, sharing skills with communities to enable them to tell stories of their lives and issues that matter to them. 

She has branched out to develop community engagement projects across visual arts, crafts, technology and heritage. Anne is particularly interested in place-based working and projects frequently involve working in unusual settings. These have included; craft displays in a train station, an illuminated theatre performance on canoes and heritage exhibitions in a former slaughterhouse. 

Alongside designing and producing projects, events  and exhibitions, Anne also makes 2D & 3D artworks. She likes to use found materials, working with second hand textiles, cardboard and natural materials and is currently training in traditional basket making.
