Tamara Nkrumah

Tamara is a visual artist. For her, art is a way to communicate emotions, thoughts, and experiences. She developed a love for water-based mediums like watercolour and inks, combining them with reactive materials to create vibrant and unpredictable patterns. Her style ranges from bold and abstract to nostalgic and childlike, depending on how much of her own emotions she expresses. Nature is a constant inspiration for her work, particularly the intricate beauty of cellular patterns and mycelium, as well as the vibrancy of the Caribbean. With over a decade of experience, including an art foundation degree and studying architecture, she had the privilege of exhibiting and selling her work at various events. She also delivers creative workshops where she encourage participants to explore expressive, mixed-media mark-making. Tamara believes everyone has an artistic voice and loves helping others discover theirs.
