As a charity we are governed by a Board of Volunteer Trustees who give their time to guide the charity’s strategic direction and ensure we meet our business aims.
Trustees are champions of BCA, providing a range of skills and experiences that steer our path.

Meet our current Board

Sammy Maitland
Chair
Sammy is a socially engaged producer and curator. Having previously worked across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire for 7 years, she is now based in East London and works as a Creative Producer for the Museum of London.

Mark Taylor
Trustee
Mark has lived in Bedford for over 30 years and spent most of his career working for membership bodies in health and the arts.

Tim Pain
Trustee
Tim is CEO of Verve Group Ltd, a niche property company specialising in the regeneration of commercial buildings, adapting them to meet the demands of the current day.

Fiona Parry
Trustee
Fiona is a gardener and curator. She is based in Margate and grew up in Bedfordshire. She recently retrained in horticulture and currently works as a gardener.

Jennie Cashman Wilson
Trustee
Jennie is a certified coach, a member of the Association of Coaching, a mentor, strategist and published author for creative people.

Samuel Baker
Trustee
Sam has a background in education, charity operations, fundraising and project management, with extensive experience of constructive relationship-building across the private, public and third sectors.
