The installation that Chojnacka produced whilst artist in residence with BCA Gallery explored how our environment can affect how we feel. The Gallery was split into two zones, one was inspried by the artist’s experience of a Polish hospital, in which the visitor’s sense of space, smell and sound were manipulated to create a feeling of uncertainty. The other in contrast seemed fragile, as if the visitor had the power to change and control it.
