Time on our Hands was a project that began in 1993, offering older people a chance to try a broad range of arts activities, whilst meeting new people, gaining new skills and enjoying new experiences.    

Throughout the summer of 95 BCA’s Photography Group (comprising of local photography enthusiasts) visited Queens Park and Brickhill Allotments and got to know the allotment holders with a view to creating a photographic record of allotment life. The photographs taken feature the personalities they met, the produce they grew and the allotments themselves.
