New BedMID Songwriting Project Explores Refugee Archive

BedMID (Bedford Music in Detention) is working with artist Joanne Hudson Lett and Friends of Refugees Bedfordshire to create a series of new songs that will be recorded for a new CD and performed during Refugee Week in June 2018. Participants will use archive material from BedMID’s past work with detainees in the Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre to inspire the new songs.
