Future Towns at The River Festival 2018

14/07/2018 - 15/07/2018

Event Description

Come and make a Souvenir of the Future.

For our Future Towns commission artist, Sadie Hennessy will be appearing at cultural events in and around Bedford over the next twelve months.

Over the weekend of Bedford’s River Festival, Sadie will be inviting you to create your very own souvenir of the future.

Create your own part of a long, collaged mural sharing your vision of what Bedford’s people and places will be like in the future. Then we’ll take close-up photos of your collages and make souvenir badges and rosettes for you to take home with you.

We will be at St Mary’s Gardens (opposite Riverside Square) on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July.

Keep an eye out for where Sadie will be next and the exhibition of the mural next year.
