Camera-less film making at BedPop Fun Palace

01/10/2016 - 02/10/2016

Event Description

Culture Challenge presents: Camera-less film making with artist and film maker Joanna Byrne

Take a line for a walk… or a run, or a dance!

A practical, accessible introduction to camera-less filmmaking.

In this open access workshop you’ll create your own handmade animation by drawing, painting and scratching directly onto the surface of 16mm film. You’ll be able to see (and hear) your film projected in the museum! You can also have a go at making ‘living paintings’ by drawing on the film as it goes through the projector.

Suitable for all ages and abilities. Drop in – stay for as little or as long as you’d like.
